GRADIA PREMi
GC Introduces GRADIA PREMi, a New Restorative Material for Dental 3D Printing
GC and SprintRay have introduced GC GRADIA PREMi, a new light-cured hybrid ceramic restorative composite developed specifically for the SprintRay Midas Digital Press system. The material was unveiled on October 10, 2026, during the 3DNext event in Miami, United States.
The product is designed for the fabrication of definitive single-unit crowns, inlays, onlays, and veneers through a digital workflow that can be completed directly in the dental practice.
WHAT MAKES IT DIFFERENT?
Unlike conventional 3D printing resins, GRADIA PREMi features a highly filled, high-viscosity formulation processed using SprintRay’s Digital Press Stereolithography technology.
The material incorporates three proprietary GC technologies:
HDM (High Density Micronization): Promotes a homogeneous distribution of filler particles to enhance mechanical properties and wear resistance.
FSC (Full Silane Coating): Optimizes the bond between filler particles and the resin matrix, supporting material durability and stability.
b-HT (Balanced High Translucency): Designed to reproduce natural optical properties and improve the esthetic integration of dental restorations.
CLINICAL APPLICATIONS
GRADIA PREMi is intended for the production of definitive dental restorations through a digital workflow that integrates design, manufacturing, cleaning, and light curing.
According to the manufacturer, its formulation aims to combine mechanical strength, esthetic stability, polishability, and wear resistance.
The system is designed to enable dental professionals to produce definitive restorations chairside, potentially reducing the need for temporary restorations and additional appointments.
AVAILABILITY
GC announced that GRADIA PREMi will become commercially available in the United States on November 1, 2026.
The material has been specifically developed for the SprintRay Midas Digital Press platform.
